ABOUT US

TEEnet is a network that brings together those who share an ecumenical vision for quality theological education by extension (TEE). We utilise the TEE learning methodology which centres on printed home study material, a regular group meeting and application to the students’ home and ministry context. We collaborate to produce, revise, and contextualise open access learning materials. Our vision is to help TEE programmes, organisations, churches, ministries, and institutions implement best practice TEE.
TEEnet extends theological learning to everyone-everywhere by overcoming geographical, economic, ecclesiastical, gender, background, and prior-schooling barriers. We support the implementation of TEE in all forms of theological education from grassroots level to accredited higher education.
TEEnet promotes TEE as an effective model to equip the whole people of God through trainings, seminars, publications, consultations, research and the TEEnet website.

OUR VISION

TEEnet is about building the Kingdom of God by educating and developing the whole people of God. We believe that theological education is for Everyone-Everywhere and requires contextual theological responses. We promote collaboration between churches, institutions, organizations, and TEE programs to improve our united goal of equipping members for life and ministry. TEEnet exists to support the efforts of our partners as they implement TEE in their unique contexts.
