TEE Courses
One of the key tools used in TEE courses (as well as in many small group training programmes) is the use of courses as workbooks. Workbooks, especially self-study workbooks, are central to learning as they provide access to quality learning content in preparation for a class or TEE group meeting.
TEEnet’s vision is to encourage open access to theological learning materials. Our courses free to any TEE programme or church that would like to use them to prepare its members for life and ministry. Our vision is to make TEE courses freely available, accessible, downloadable, reproducible, and distributable without a licensing fee. Our courses are published under the Creative Commons Licence (CCL). TEEnet TEE courses
So far the following TEEnet TEE courses are available. New courses will be added to the list once they become available. Why not sign up in the mean time to our newsletter to be informed when we add new courses? The course level described below is determined by TEEnet alone and is only a suggestion for TEE programs. We examine the reading/writing level of the material, length of courses, and conceptual level of the material.

TEENet Description: These courses were designed for elder/pastor training. These courses are more detailed than others as the authors included much of the commentary notes and discussion questions in the course manuals.

Knowing Jesus (Coming Soon)

TEEnet Description: Knowing Jesus is a 16-week introductory course to biblical literacy that looks at the life, teaching, miracles, and encounters of Jesus in the four gospels (with a small excursion into the book of Revelation to look at the exalted Christ). The course locates Jesus’ life and ministry within the historical context of Roman-occupied Galilee and Judea. It contains maps, illustrations and nearly 100 tailored backgrounds to understand the Gospels better. The course combines the actual biblical text that students should study with additional background information, summaries, explanations, and plenty of exercises that directly force engagement with the biblical text and the biblical story.
The course originates from an AATEEA (All Africa TEE Association) course writer training programme.
